Exciting news, as this is the closest SQLSaturday has even been to home (Edinburgh – UK), so am very excited.

Here is a list of all the SQL sessions (schedule is not out yet)

There 3 tracks to the conference:

  • DBA Track
  • Developer Track
  • BI Track

All the courses in the SQL conference are classified in a range from beginners to advanced, so abit for everyone.

It is a particularly exciting event this year as we are approaching the release of SQL Server 2012 (Project name: Denali), along with a host of new Business Intelligence, Internal SQL Engine and DBA tools.

Now the reason for this post is actually to paste the conversation we had about the SQL Saturday event…

At the after-party, casually walking up to the bar:

“Order those malts by age barman, and select me top two of your finest.”

“I couldn’t help notice, you put ‘no lock’ on your queries earlier. How about we truncate our schedules and ditch these ‘cubes’”

  1. […] you bet I’ll be there (which might sway your decision not to go). Last year I missed SQL Saturday in Dublin because I couldn’t sort out travel arrangements in time, which was such a disappointment […]
